We cover all 5 Final Destination movies.
We interview Mick Strawn, the production designer for Nightmare on Elm Street 3, 4, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3: Leatherface, and author of his new novel Behind the Screams. Which you can purchase here.
I’m not even going to pretend like we cover Student Bodies, although we do complain about it for a good five minutes. Most of this episode is spent raving about Mandy, which you should watch before listening. I pitch a movie at the end.
We can only upload Horror Boys every 17 days. That’s a good excuse, right? Like, we’re cicada people or something? We watched a movie with a cicada dude in it for this episode. We mostly talk about Dark Night of the Scarecrow, Communion and The Beast Within, but we talk about other stuff too.
We watched The Skulls Trilogy. I’m not sure why. It was a mistake. This episode was a mistake. Maybe the podcast too. Tanner’s audio on this one is really bad. He kept bumping the mic and recorded in the eye of a tornado. Weird approach but I respect his creative process.
Tourist Trap, Blood and Concrete and Trance AKA The Fan. We don’t edit anymore.
Whoo. We made it boys. This is officially my longest running podcast. This is also our longest episode yet. We covered Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things, Dead of Night AKA Deathdream and Revenge. I hope Ric Flair is proud.
Halloween 4, 5 and The Guest. We recorded this episode on May 5th and it’s already irrelevant. Whoops!
Intruder, Idle Hands and Love and Saucers. This one goes places. Not quiet places. Ranty places.
Filmmaker Len Kabasinski joins us to talk about his micro-budget independent action movies. Support him on Patreon! He’s a great guy and one of the hardest working filmmakers around. https://www.patreon.com/killerwolffilms
He also has an indiegogo campaign for his new martial arts movie Challenge of the Five Gauntlets https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/challenge-of-five-gauntlets-len-kabasinski#/
Wow these movies were terrible. Even Jason X, our favorite, isn’t quite great. We also watched Critters 4, Leprechaun 4: In Space and Hellraiser: Bloodline. Stephen went off and watched Maniac Cop and Dracula 3000 on his own and then talked about those longer than any of the actual movies we were supposed to cover. It was his stupid idea to do fourth movies in space and he couldn’t even hold a conversation on them. Sorry this is going up late, Stephen stayed up all night to edit it in time for Wednesday and then WordPress went down. Oh yeah, Len Kabasinski will be on the podcast next week. That’ll be cool.
Stephen compares A Quiet Place to Mars Attacks! and then we stumble into spoiling it so go to 3:30 if you care. Then we complain about The Ambulance and Hardware but celebrate Bag Boy Lover Boy. There are also some hot takes at the end, Tanner’s is especially bad.
